ReStores sell new and gently used renovation and construction materials and supplies!

Everything sold in a ReStore has been donated by companies or individuals who want to help Habitat for Humanity meet its goal of building affordable housing.

We will be accepting donation as early as December 1, 2011. Please check back here in mid-November for details.

 

When you donate to the ReStore, you not only divert from our overflowing landfills but you also help break the cycle of poverty in Mississauga by having families fulfill a dream of owning their own home.

 

If you or your family want to donate to the ReStore, view a listing of donations we accept. Please remember the donations must be in new or like new condition. For furniture, we ask that you provide us with pictures so we can determine if we can take the donation. You can email pictures to Kate Kane.

Shop

In March you will be able to shop for great deals on new and gently used home renovation items. Our prices will range from 30%- 70% off regular retail prices. You will be able to save money, help the environment by reusing items in great condition and help Habitat build affordable housing for Mississauga families in need.

Volunteer

Are you looking for a meaningful experience, giving back to your community or even developing a new skill or getting some experience? Why not volunteer? You will be volunteering in a fast-paced, exciting environment. You could be showing off your skills in carpentry, repair, customer service or in one of many other environments. If you like to work at a steady pace, or come in and have a particular job to accomplish or if you like to be up front and meeting new people, we have an experience for everyone. We guarantee your volunteering experience will be rewarding and fun. For information on positions for which we are currently recruiting go to our Volunteer page. We are recruiting volunteers for mid-January to work in the ReStore.
